NSSA Inland Championships 2nd- 3rd June 2012 Datchet Water Sailing Club

Registration is now open for this annual two day sailing regatta. The sailing is normally split into four fleets – Handicap (Slow and Fast), Laser, Topper and Rookie, attracting nearly a hundred entries. There is a Rookie Fleet available for those sailors who are in their first year of racing and who have not sailed away from their home club before.

On 12th March four teams from Cambridgeshire competed in the NSSA Double Handed Team Racing at Oxford Sailing Club. This year the organisers decided to change the format to 2 vs 2 team racing in order to encourage more tactical racing and more teams. This proved to be a very good decision as 17 teams entered, by far the highest in the history of the competition and the quality of the racing was excellent.
